Richard is a senior member of the American Society for Quality and is a Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professional. An innovation guru (24 patents) and valued coach, mentor and instructor, Richard’s clients range from start-ups through Fortune 100, as well as the US government.

Continuous improvement doesn’t always go in a straight line
A client struggled to reproduce a “strength” test for a 510(k) submission where the test did not appear meaningful for the new device. I helped modify the test and put it in proper context with an additional design report for the (successful) submission two months later.
My client had successfully developed and improved a product for a decade before hitting a wall. I identified the hidden variable to be controlled that helped them break through the wall and overcome the stagnating profit margin.
